Stacey E. Tally

Stacey E. Tally, a native of Houston, Texas, graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, in History and Spanish, and then went on to receive her law degree, magna cum laude, from the Charleston School of Law in 2009. While in law school, Stacey served as an Articles Editor for the Charleston Law Review, was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, and worked as a law clerk at a multi-specialty business law firm each summer and during the school year. After graduating from Charleston Law, she moved to Fayetteville and clerked for the Honorable Cheri L. Beasley on the North Carolina Court of Appeals. In 2011, Stacey joined a local Fayetteville law firm, where she had a diverse civil litigation practice with a heavy focus on research and writing, and practiced there for six years until going in-house to work as Assistant Counsel at Cape Fear Valley Health System. At the hospital, Stacey oversaw the Contracts Department, and provided counsel to the health system on various legal matters, including interpretation and application of healthcare laws and regulations, contract issues, and risk management and liability matters. In 2019, Stacey returned to private practice and joined Player McLean, where she focuses on civil litigation, transactional law, and an expanding appellate practice.
